LaMartina’s work has been shown throughout the Baltimore-Washington area, is in private collections worldwide, and has been published in many national magazines, including Architectural Digest and Home & Garden. An abstract impressionist, BB creates pieces filled with color and varied elements of texture. Visually interesting, with depth of composition creating movement and excitement. “Once installed,” she says, “the piece will make the room.”
The Challenge: Create a work of art capturing the light, calming essence of the home and its gardens, incorporating the perfect shade of blue-gray Meredith chose for the kitchen cabinetry.
The Result: “Constant Joy.”
For this piece, LaMartina took cues from nature;
“To me, few things are as beautiful as a field of flowers. My inspiration was to provide a view where one might constantly gaze and enjoy the peace and beauty.”
She certainly accomplished that, as does this gorgeous new 2,448 Sft, 4 bedroom, 4 bath residence!

Realtor Susan Isaacs with “Constant Joy”
I love the placement of LaMartina’s painting over this white brick fireplace surround with its fluted design that also conveys movement and light. Perfect pairing!
“Constant Joy” is a 30×60 work of acrylic, oil and ink, applied over a highly-textured potion. It is available for purchase at $1,900.00.

LaMartina incorporated the perfect blue-gray shade of the kitchen cabinetry throughout her painting.
